Oh wow...I didn't think of this...MAIL!

I plan to order most of my textbooks offline...so where do I get them delivered to? lol Like the front desk of the dorm? Or would the mail guy drop it off by my room...I'm so confused. Or is there a separate mail thing entirely?

Parents?

GOB: If you already have your dorm address, you could just give your name and that address. I don't know if all the dorms work like this, but some have a central area (usually downstairs somewhere) with individual mailboxes. Check and see what your dorm has (or somebody on here will know), but you should be able to give your dorm address with no problem. One way or the other, those books will get to you. ;)

The South Campus mail system might be revamped this year so I'd be careful using any addressing conventions you find online unless they've been specifically labeled as Fall '07.

Here is what goes into effect August 1st:

Thanks for the link egghead...our family is full of 'package senders' so we needed that...;)

ldgirl's new address is Kenan on Battle Lane. How very Southern sounding...lol

Most of the dorms have specific street addresses, but if you just address something as...

Name
Room Number, Dorm Name
UNC Residence Hall
Chapel Hill, NC (zip cod)

it will get there.
