<p>side note: I've been clicking my way through some of these threads here and everyone, all of you, are just *amazing. I mean, presidents of the everything, first place winners of anything, featured individual of the year?? I am speechless. May you make your mark on the world..or crater shaped dent of brilliance, whichever.</p>

PSAT: 2050 (I screwed up! No other explanation)
SAT: TBA (I know I did much better than the PSAT)
SAT II: World History: 800 (I'll be taking the Math IIC in June)
AP: World History 5
Rank: 8 out of 358. Top 5%
Letters of Rec: My teachers all seem to like me and think that I'm interesting.
Essay: I'm a good writer. You know, when my brain isn't shocked numb. Like now. You terribly amazing people. UGH. </p>

<p>I did, however, participate in this law program (classes) fresh and soph years. To be honest, it was kind of worthless, but I've been told that it looks good on my transcript. Plus, I've taken the hardest classes offered.</p>

<p>I am a member of NHS (two years), NAHS(two years), our school's lit. magazine staff (two years), and technical crew (lights and stuff...uh. Yea, I don't think it'll look impressive but I like it).
I have attended many, many camps. Leadership camps to forestry camps to camps overseas in which I represented one of the many U.S. kids.
I have held leadership positions but they just seem so small and insignificant that...to be honest, I'm a bit too ashamed to put them up.</p>

<p>Being an extremely paranoid teenager, I won't announce the school (it is a pretty decent school though!) that I go to nor anything that will make me uncomfortable disclosing. I really regret not having a focus. I like to jump around and taste a little bit of that and little of that over there. I don't have anything I've stuck with for very long.</p>

<p>Wharton. I want to go to Wharton. I just came back from their camp tour recently (my tour guide was horrible..ugh) and it is not only beautiful, but just somewhere I felt right in. I've also fallen in love with their oxymoronic Fighting Quakers.</p>

<p>I will be applying ED for it. The other schools? Well, what schools do you think I'm fit for? And really, what can I do that will boost me up?</p>

<p>I appreciate honesty, but if you have an urge to be nasty, go somewhere else.</p>

<p>If you move your SATs up, you have a legit shot at UPenn. </p>

<p>Another superb business school is Stern at NYU. I figure it may be of potential interest to you as you are looking at a top-tier business school in the North East in Wharton.</p>

<p>If, by chance, you're considering schools in California, USC's Marshall School of Business is very good, and I'm sure you'd have a great shot at getting in!</p>

<p>If not, I agree with Kafka89's post... NYU's Stern School of Business is also very good, and easier to get into than Wharton.</p>

<p>Kafka89: You have no idea how angry I got when collegboard announced the postponement of scores for another WEEK. I threw heavy things. Actually, not really. But I was pretty ****ed. And I KNOW my SAT will move up. NYU is kind of too urban for me. I'm the type of girl who is easily distracted by the shiny and gets lost in big cities.</p>

<p>shiba411: CA is a bit too far for an east coaster like me. I have thought about NYU before but I really like Wharton. If you ever go there, check out their swively seats. Very cool.</p>

<p>You have a good chance at UPenn.</p>

<p>If your SAT is higher (>2250) you should have a good shot at Wharton. If Wharton's your first choice, which it seems like, you should apply ED which will definitely help you.
Besides that, try to get 5's on APs and >750's on SAT IIs.</p>
