ohhh it's no good.

it's not good.
during my sopho yr, i got a 70 (considered a D in my school system) in Honors PreCalculus.
Up until then, i had solid As in math.
last yr (junior yr), I got a 96 in AP calc BC with a 5 on the exam.
my sat score is 2170, and my uw gpa is 3.71 (yes... precalc hurt my gpa A LOT)... very decent ecs, blah blah blah....
i'm a korean kid down in georgia.
i will be applying nyu ed pre-dental
tell me...
will i be getting a skinny envelope from the adcom in december?

another words... will my calc bc, an overtly higher level math, compensate for my horrific pre calc grade?
in addition, would nyu consider 70 as a D or a C? this makes a difference since their stats listed in the us news is 3.6.

don't worry, I think they will look at the 5 in AP Calc and disregard a bad math grade, we have all had the one math teacher from hell, who either sucks at grading, or sucks at teaching, leaving you hanging when you advance to the next level, LOL
