hey y’all! I was recently admitted to both ohio state and umich! i’m looking for a career in business, but i didn’t apply to ross (dumb mistake ik) because i wasn’t 100% before applying, so i was admitted into LSA as an econ major. i am in fisher at osu, however, so i don’t know if I should go to michigan and try and try to transfer into Ross. I also don’t want to regret trying to find a job as an econ major if I am not admitted into Ross because it is so competitive. Also, osu has given me lots of scholarships and Michigan is known for being stingy on the $$ end. thanks in advance for your feedback! (also i am completely aware of the irony in choosing between these two rival schools)
If you want to be a Business Major with a specialty in Accounting , Finance, etc then the Direct admit to Fisher is the way to go. My understanding is that it is extremely difficult to get into Ross if you do not have a direct admit from High School. Not impossible but difficult. You did not say whether you are OOS for Michigan, but if OSU is much less expensive and you have a direct admit, then OSU might be the best option. Fisher is a highly ranked Business School
