Ohio State+me= Ahhhhhhhh!!!

Ok, I desperately want to go to OSU, however my grades, to put it nicely, SUCK!!! Ok, I have a 3.1 gpa, and a 21 on the Act (I can already see your faces cringing). Ne ways, I just want to know, is there any chance I may still be accepted. I applied in october, it takes 12 weeks for a reply, meanwhile i'm dying (not really, but the suspense is killing me). What do u all think? Can i make it?

I can't really say for sure, but according to college
board.com , the mid 50 percent of the applicant pool
has an ACT within 23-26..meaning, your ACT is probably
in the lower twenty five percent of the applicant pool...
your GPA isn't horrible, compared to a lot of people that
probably apply to OSU...I'd say right now you have a
sixty percent chance of getting in there. (not an expert,
just live in Ohio, friends applied to OSU and all)

Hope I helped, good luck, you probably have admission.

thanks, anything posted is helpful!

osu is trying to tighten its standards so they might want you to take the ACTs again to bring up the average. try SAts... I'm sure they'll like good scores on that.

whereabout in Ohio are you? If you do live in Ohio.

I live in the boring city of Toledo

Just go to an OSU regional campus, or Community College for 12 semester credit hours/18 quarter hours, score above a 2.0 GPA and you are a lock for admission. That is what I did with Kent State.
