Ohio state or UW...as a transfer

Hello, new here. Thought I would give this a shot.

I didn't do so well in high school, mostly because of laziness, and partly because of some obstacles which I had to overcome. I enrolled into a Community College in Washington in hopes of getting a transfer degree and attending a University, but I'm unsure if the odds are in my favor. The two colleges I am looking at are Ohio State University and University of Washington. In order to be considered for admission on a competitive basis without the need for SAT/ACT scores or high school transcripts, Ohio state requires that you complete at least 45+ Quarter credits; UW requires 40+.

I have just finished up my first year of college. Because I am paying for college, rent, phone, insurance, etc... by myself, I do not have very much money, so I was only able to take two courses per quarter.

Courses/grades:
Fall
-College Precalculus, C
-Computer Science (Java programming), B

Winter
-Calculus I, B
-Advanced Computer Science (more Java), C+

Spring
-Calculus II, B
-English 101, B- (always struggled with English)

Over the summer I will be taking Calculus III, and I have already signed up for my fall quarter of next year, which will be:
-General Engineering Physics 1 (out of 3)
-Calculus IV (highest I can go, then it's off to Diff. EQ and Lin. Alg.)
-French 1 (because nothing else fit into my schedule, and I figured I could knock out an elective credit)

By the end of fall quarter, I will have a total of 52 credits which will put me over the requirements.

I am not sure if EC's are something that colleges look for in transfer students, and if they are then that may be my downfall. I have no EC's for my entire time at CC. I can't play most sports because I had a serious knee injury while playing lacrosse in high school, and the only other sport I play is golf, which I can't afford to do competitively. During the summer quarter I will be looking into clubs, and I will continue to do so through fall quarter as well.

Don’t mean to double post if it’s against the rules, but I don’t want to be ignored either.

bump…

third bump
