Ohio State Regional Campus

I applied to Ohio State with a 3.4 GPA, 26 ACT, great extra curriculars, and an awesome letter of recommendation. I was deferred to a regional campus, so I have decided to take summer classes in order to receive the credit hours necessary to transfer onto Columbus campus in only one semester. My only concern is whether or not I will be eligible to apply for housing second semester as my admissions counselor did say that it might not be possible. Is anyone familiar with the regional-to-main transfer procedure?

Hey, I’m a sophomore at OSU. I also didn’t get in at first but I was able to transfer after my first quarter at OSU Mansfield. I was also quite worried about housing but I just sent an email to the housing office and they responded back with the contract email saying they did have housing available.

So, I’m not sure if you’ll definitely be able to get it but the best thing to do is to email the housing office. Good luck!

I applied to transfer for my sophomore year, I will have 28 credit hours after this semester, so they will still look at my high school stuff. If i don’t get into the main campus i will be going to a regional, is it possible to transfer to main after only a semester at a regional?
