Hey y’all - I just had a few questions/concerns about my chances at getting accepted to Ohio State as a transfer from an out-of-state university.
I have a 3.04 GPA thus far after 5 semesters of college, majoring in education. I plan on staying another year and hopefully attending OSU in the fall of 2017. Do y’all think that my GPA is good enough to get in? I’m a first-generation, low income student, and my GPA has gotten progressively better every semester that I’ve been in college. I’m not sure if any of that will help my chances or not.
Another question - how long does it typically take to get a decision? I’ve already submitted an application and my transcript, and I’m just waiting on undergraduate admissions to verify the fee waiver I submitted for my application.
I really need a change of scenery and to get away from an unhealthy environment at my current school. I would be devastated to not get in. Hope somebody can help calm my nerves!
