From what I can see here I would say your chances are 50/50. Your cumulative gpa is probably around a 3.3 from what you’ve listed and that is kind of low for Ohio State, your ACT scores are also pretty low for Ohio State too. The fact that you did take Honors and AP classes, held leadership positions, and were involved in other organizations will help your case a lot though.

You also listed that you are West African and fluent in two languages which is a huge plus too. I highly recommend taking the ACT again to improve your chances. The average GPA for an incoming Freshman at Ohio State is a 3.73 with an average ACT score of 28 so it is highly competitive, that being said you do have a little edge given your background and achievements. If I were you I would look into other ways to be competitive to overcome your grades.

At this point I would say whether or not you get accepted really relies on your personal statement. Schools see fit as just as big of a determining factor as grades. Ask yourself why you want to go to Ohio State and why you believe you’ll be successful there vs anywhere else. If you are really serious about going to Ohio State I would highly recommend thinking about these questions. Also a story about overcoming adversity doesn’t hurt in a personal statement.

Overall, I feel you would be a good applicant, though your admission is far from guaranteed. Just remember to apply ASAP senior year and APPLY for EARLY ACTION as this will increase your chances of getting in.

P.S. A “Collage” is a piece of art and a “College” is an educational institution haha. Not a big deal now, but in the future it looks very unprofessional.

Best,
