Does anyone know, if my son chooses test optional for SAT but he needs SAT to prove his english competency (he is an international student), is it possible? He still needs to send the SAT to Ohio directly, right?
Do athletic recruits who have applied by the Nov 1 deadline hear on Dec 10 or is it a different process? I thought the coach said it was “rolling”??
In the applicant center, the status of transcript is still incomplete, do they need time to process? Because it’s submitted the commonapp. If document status is still incomplete, is it still considered as early action?
What is the actual admissions decision date? Why does it say Dec 9, Jan 20? Clicking all around and I can’t figure it out
I wondered about this yesterday as my D’s app still said incomplete too (changed to complete this morning). I found on the OSU website that as long as it has been submitted, it can take up to 10 days for them to upload it but will still be considered EA. You may want to call just to confirm.

These are both decision dates. Apparently roughly half of applicants will receive decisions in each day, but I haven’t been able to figure out any rhyme or reason to who hears when. Based on last year’s thread, it seemed random, but I don’t know for certain.
Oh I think I remember another school doing this two years ago when my second ds applied to colleges. But I can’t remember if it was OSU (but he did apply there). He was lucky enough to be on the first date

My son’s portal now is showing: evaluated. Hopefully we will hear in Dec 9.
Just to clarify, does your son’s portal say “evaluated” or “evaluation”? My daughter’s says the latter which I’m thinking means that it is currently under evaluation, but still hoping for a December decision.
I am guessing it says “Evaluation” in the status summary, and “Your application is complete and is in the process of being evaluated” when you click for the details.

Sorry, it said “evaluation”. I think it will change to “decision” once they finish the evaluation
