If our kids are lucky enough to get an early December acceptance, they still won’t hear about Scholars or Honors for a long time, is that correct?
Is there a separate honors Application?
no. not if you apply by EA deadline.

Just read last year thread, so many deferrals for EA in Jan notification. They couldn’t finish reviewing so many EA applicants were deferred to RD. Hope they will prepare better for this year 
oh man I really hope our kids get decisions in December and not deferrals. Expecting a mid-Dec rejection from our daughter’s ED school and I was counting on one of her EA schools (OSU or UGA) to offset the sting with some good news- most of her EA schools won’t send decisions until January or later.

Same here, my son is so agitated every day. OSU is the earliest EA if he can get it by Dec 9.
Hello! Are the merit aids awarded at the same time as the decision or do they come later in staggered manner?
Why does OSU have TWO dates for notification of EA admittance? How is it determined if you are notified to December vs January? Thanks
From last year thread, you won’t know on which date you would get the decision, whether Dec or Jan
We are in state and a large number of students from our HS apply. Last year, only those in the top 10% of the class received acceptances on the December date.

It’s totally random which date you get, I got decomber last year but several jd my friends got January.

Really hope we dont have to wait until January to hear. Weird they have notification dates a month apart for the same application round.

IDK. Not much information. I havent been able to locate an update on their website nor an admissions account on social media. Everything is communicated through the university’s main account.
