Hello everyone, here’s my first post on CC!!
I am getting ready for applying to colleges and I was recommended to look at Ohio State University for engineering. The school’s engineering program looks very promising but I don’t know anyone personally who has attended OSU. Is the Environmental Engineering (undergraduate) program good? If you are an alumni/current student of OSU, could you tell me more about the engineering programs, if its worth it, pros/cons, and what I should know beyond the brochure?
Here are my stats for admission if you are also interested in chancing me:
OOS Applicant for OSU
Race: Asian
Major: Engineering (Environmental/Environmental Health)
Current SAT: 1300 (retaking on August 25, 2019)
Current ACT: 27 (retaking TBD)
GPA: 3.5-3.8 (I find out my GPA next month but that is the range I am in)
** Note: My school only offers some Honors classes and 5 AP classes:
APUSH (11th grade only - I qualified but did not get into the class because they would only accept 20 students)
AP Calculus AB (not taking)
AP English Lit & Comp (taking 12th grade)
AP MicroEconomics (taking 12th grade)
AP US Gov (taking 12th grade)
Any and all feedback is appreciated!
