Ohio State vs Pitt

I’m currently down to deciding between these two schools. I’ve attended normal tours and admitted student days for both schools. I love both for different reasons and I’m honestly just at a loss and don’t know how else to narrow it down. I’m going to visit one after another over spring break so that I can experience them both in a short period of time. What should I do/lookout for/ask that could help narrow down my decision? Here’s some extra info if it helps :

  • I’m going in as a biology major on a pre-med track.
  • I’m in a very lucky position in that my parents are able to pay for my undergraduate education, so cost isn’t a huge concern.

Thank you in advance for your help : )

Medical school is expensive. If the price difference for undergraduate is significant, and you choose the less expensive option, will your parents offer the difference to help pay for medical school?

@ucbalumnus my sister will be entering college right when i graduate and they plan to pay for her undergrad as well, so they won’t contribute anything to med school

Will your choice affect the amount of money available for her college?

no, we both have the same amount saved

All you can really do is tour, explore, ask questions, talk to people, gather as much info as you can. Hopefully one will just feel “right”.

Both are very good schools. I don’t know much about Bio rankings, but my D applied to both for engineering and they were very comparable.
