<p>OP, you have great stats. Why are you not looking at more selective schools that give more need-based aid? If your parents are low/middle income, you might be fine. Also you don’t have to rule out LACs for pre-med. My daughter attends Mount Holyoke (which is in the same 5 college consortium as UMAss Amherst) and has several pre-med friends. MHC is one of the schools that meets 100% financial need.</p>
<p>I think you should run the Net Price Calculators for some schools like that to see how much need-based aid you’d get. But also, get those apps in at the merit aid schools with fast-approaching deadlines! Good luck.</p>
