I just checked with my friends to coordinate a day to go when he said he only has the bridges Senior Weekend from April 16-18th while I have the Overnight Host Program (OHP) from either April 10-11 or 17-18.

Wazmo, it was under his “myEvents” in his application site. Not everyone gets offered this program, but my high school is very poor so the majority of our acceptances have this.

No, I’m a spring admit also. The space is limited though. I have no idea why you didn’t get one HelloAll.

I did hear on one post in this forum that it is usually available to admits who are from low-income families. My family makes below $20,000 a year.

^ I got the OHP on myBerkeleyApp and the OSP from the Alumni Association, and I’m hella white. Yay for excuses to hang out at Berkeley, and maybe miss (now very boring) school!

i got a phone call about going to senior weekend but its not under MyEvents on the app website… the girl who called me said I was supposed to get an email. but i didnt. haha. maybe they decided to uninvite me…?(:

I got invited and am going to the OHP. I don’t know why some people are invited and some aren’t, because I am certainly not economically disadvantaged by any means. My parents make a lot of money.

My only guess is maybe they invited people who they think might need some persuasion to come? Like people who got into UCLA since that seems to be a tough decision. I did get into ucla…so maybe thats why?

For those who did NOT see their invitation for Senior Weekend under myberkeleyapp>myevents, please contact me as soon as possible with your full name and app id. I work for the organizations that run Senior Weekend, and I can look into for you.

Senior Weekend was the best decision I made in my senior year. It was a BIG reason why I chose Cal. I hope those who can come out for it!
