Hey everyone,

Although I'm not an engineering major myself (Management Information Systems), I came here because I figured this major could give the best insight into the Oil & Gas industry. I was recently offered an IT internship with two oilfield services companies, Weatherford and Halliburton. I was wondering if anyone could provide any insight into what life is like working with either of these two companies. There's tons of job reviews about the two companies on the web, but the vast majority of them are centered around doing field work in remote locations, which doesn't apply to me. I'd be sitting at a desk at company headquarters, so I'm really hoping to get insight into what life is like working there.

I appreciate any responses.
