ACT:24, right now. 27, when i retake it in september.

thanks in advance.

Lackluster grades, nice senior year schedule, almost non existent ec's, and a test score thats about 2 points too low... IMO 30-40%

that percentage is higher than i expected lol

well...I dunno...UF is all over the place with admissions. I wouldn't mind listing it as 10-30 or 10-40%. Actually I think 10-30% is more accurate

Reach, I wouldn't say it's a HUGE reach though. I would give it a shot! You have a chance. Hopefully you increase your ACT score so that it can make up for your gpa.

UF is getting more and more competitive. I would agree with the others that it is going to be a reach.

thanks a lot you guys!

Depends on your major. For liberal arts, you can probably get in.

Major doesn't matter, this is general admissions.

Pull up your test scores.

that gpa is really low

If you can write a good essay and a good application, then you have a chance.

I had 3.26 uw, 1270 sat.
I think my essay and ec's were excellent however, and that is what got me in.
They are looking for a unique individial, thats why many people are surprised by 4.0 students that don't get in.
