Alright, well it's almost August and I have no clue/idea where I want to go at all.... this is bad. Ok well im in the Northeast, SAT of 2280, lots of AP classes, 3 sport varsity athlete, extra curriculurs, etc. Pretty typical CCer.

I have visited so far the following schools: Upenn, Columbia, Tufts, BC, Brown.

I hated Brown, wasn't really impressed by Boston College. I really enjoyed Tufts, Columbia, and Upenn when I visted each, but now I have my doubts (like Columbia's huge core, Upenn's huge focus on Wharton, etc.)

Well I need to figure out which school I'm applying to ED, and I'm going to visit Princeton and Harvard soon. I also plan to make a southern trip to visit some of the following: UNC, URichmond, UVirginia, Emory, Elon, Duke, William Mary, Georgetown.

What I want:
Size: like 4,000-10,000

Location: Don't care, but I realistically won't be able to visit all the schools outside the Northeast (I'll try to get to as many of the above mentionted as I can)

Location (part 2): I don't want to be in the middle of no where, and it'd be nice to be in a city. I wouldn't mind being out of the city as long as there was always plenty to do and if there was a city very very close where I could go out to.

Majors: I have no clue at all, which is why I'd be hesitant applying to an engineering school or to Wharton at Upenn..... I don't think I want a LAC, although I don't know much about them other that they're small, underfunded, and stuff (I have no real clue why I'm not even looking at LACs)... so does this mean I'd be applying to the college of arts and sciences at the university of my choice?

Cost: not really an issue... I should probably get some financial aid, but my family is very typical middle class

Academics: I don't really know? I guess I want the best and the hardest and most rigorous, but to be honest I don't really care all that much right now (the summer feels nice).

So once I figure out which school I'll apply ED to (either Columbia, Upenn, or maybe Pton), I should also have backups. Now I read through the other threads and I wanted to know what schools you guys suggest that I visit for possible matches/safeties.

That's where I need the help of all you out there in CC world.... I can probably get anywhere in the Northeast, and I listed some Southern schools I would try to target.

Thanks guys
