OK, I am pretty much screwed for AP Literature and English and AP Bio...adviceplox?

Alrite, I have an A, currently, in both AP lit and bio. Lit is pretty hard but our teacher is nice so thats why a lot of people have A's. However, he gave us a practice Multiple Choice AP exam test as a graded test a while back. Like mostly, everyone in all three periods that he teaches failed. I somehow managed an 85 on it but that was due to pure guessing.

Basically, the class average was like 40, 50, and 60, lawl. I had the 1st highest grade int he class but I don't feel like I can do that for the actual AP exam...since I just guessed on here and somehow turned lucky...I didn;t even understand theq uestions and almost fell asleep since it gave me such a bad migraine!! When I take practice MC tests, I usually keep missing a LOT and it ****es me off because the text is soo confusing...for the essay, I usually score 8s or 9s but that is because he lets us take our timed writes home and edit them...which I spend like 2 hours editing and perfecting.....lol so basically, im screud for MC and all 3 timed writes...

For Bio, this class is pure hell. The teacher is pretty cool except he doesn't teach "that much"...a lot of his lectures are from power points, whcih are like 1 word..and he explains in detail in class..which most of us forget. I have an A now (idk if it will stay that way since I bombed a test on the endocrine, nervous, and circualtory system....it was ridiculous) Anyway, I'm using barrons for this (aand Lit) and barrons is freaking descriptive..its really hard to memorize all of it...

Gah..does anyone have any advice on what to do? (If you don't want to read this whole rant, let me summarize. AP LIT: hard, nice teacher, haz A in class, guessed on MC benchmark and somehow managed an 85, rest of class failed, getz 8 or 9s on timed writes, but he lets us take it home to edit, barely anyone finishes timed write int he allotted time that he gives us

AP BIO: haz A, hard but cool teacher, doesnt teach that much, study guides are pretty vague which screws us over for actual tests, gah

advice?

I have also noticed that people who do bad in class get 4s and 5s on the AP exam. I am going to be po'ed if those people who got like 30 percent on that last MC benchmark for Lit or w/e manage a 5..i mean this was an old 2002 AP lit actual exam..so I dunno...

bumpppp anyone/

Anyone cmon please…i just need advice on what books are the best for these two and what study schedules you guys implemented…thanks!

idk about english but for AP bio use CLIFFS NOTES!! I have it, and it’s really accurate, precise, good, awesome. Just read through it twice, thoroughly, and do practice problems. You should get a 5.

Ok, I will get cliffs notes…sometimes, I hate APs lol

I second Cliffnotes for Bio. For Lit., just keep in mind that you can get mediocre scores on your essays and m.c. and still pass with a 3 or sometimes even a 4. My only advice there would be to do as many practice exams as possible. I’m not sure what book would be best, unfortunately. Perhaps your teacher would know? Good luck! :-)

ok…but like i cant even get mediocre (well i havent actually sat downa nd taken it…i guessi could score mediocre but the one thing im screwed on is the time limit…not enough time to answer all of these lawl)
