OK.. I'm a little supersitious

So I received an e-mail like everyone else stating Stanford has my RD application and that 25,000 applicants applied and only 10% can be admitted.. A couple days later, I received the same e-mail again.. That statement of 25,000 applicants is freaking me out so is Stanford trying to tell me to brace myself for a rejection???

Did the subjects of both messages only change by one word? "Important" or something like that? Because I got that too... however, I wouldn't worry about it that much. They probably have us on multiple lists or.. something.

Don't worry, I got the email twice too. Probably just some kind of technical problem.

same here...

me too....

ahh thank goodness!

Haha, that means all of you are getting rejected!

I think they messed something up because I didn't receive that email at all, but I do know they have my email address on file so that's not the problem

yea..i also didnt get but i know they have my email

^^ AHHA. NOW we know who's getting rejected!!!

...just kidding.

Those that received the email or those that didn't?...jk

i received it once..

^^waitlisted then :)

i got the two emails too. i sent em a few emails about whether they had received my application properly and would only get the auto response message. perhaps these two emails were sent to appease me and ask me to wait till feb. 15 to check on my application. or they could be dropping a hint about a waitlisting or rejection - kinda like a negative likely letter...

Oh, that will be sad. I hope it is just a glitch in their system.
