Alrighty thank you very much sir youve been chanced back

CPA jobs? You’re basically an adult already.

Cornell (applying ED)Low reach
Pomona (applying ED II if i dont get into Cornell) Low Reach
Northwestern match
Claremont Mckenna Match
Bowdoin low reach
USC match
Vanderbilt reach
Rice (double legacy, and grandfather used to be a proffessor there until a few years ago) Safty
Colgate match
Oxford College of Emory University (safety)

Haha well thats just a week day job. Im no adult. And thanks im actually considering doing ED II at northwestern instead of pomona

Do the ED which you want to attend most, not on chances (coming from a kid who got accepted into pomona and northwestern, but now attends pomona). Unless you visited both/ researched both thoroughly and are not considering financials as a high priority (pomona gives better aid in my experience), you shouldn’t ED a school which you are not absolutely in love with.

Yeah Cornell is for sure my ED I. Idk im planning on going straight to grad school so i think Northwestern might be a little more pre proffessional. Im still deciding on an ED II school

If you wanna go to grad school, you might want to EDII at pomona because of their ridiculously high grad school acceptance rates (twice the national average at med schools etc…).

Hmmm ok! How do you like Pomona??

Great SATS, I would say your setbacks would be the UW GPA and class rank.

Cornell (applying ED), match
Pomona (applying ED II if i dont get into Cornell) low reach
Northwestern low reach
Claremont Mckenna not familiar
Bowdoin match
USC match/low reach
Vanderbilt high match
Rice high match
Colgate match
Oxford College of Emory University (safety) high match

Cornell (applying ED), low reach (they are anal about class rank)
Pomona (applying ED II if i dont get into Cornell) match
Northwestern low reach
Claremont Mckenna match
Bowdoin match
USC low match
Vanderbilt match
Rice match
Colgate don’t know
Oxford College of Emory University (safety) safety

I’ve sure you’ve heard it, but everything is awesome except the GPA

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/804148-parents-wont-pay-cent-should-i-lower-expectations-will-chance-back.html

Pomona - low reach
Northwestern - low reach - low reach
Claremont Mckenna - low reach
Bowdoin - match
USC - match
Vanderbilt - match
Rice - match
Colgate - match
Emory - safety

Your GPA is what is holding you back, and it wont matter if you raise it senior year because you are applying ED :(

Cornell (applying ED): reach
Pomona (applying ED II if i dont get into Cornell): rough reach
Northwestern: low reach
Claremont Mckenna: low reach
Bowdoin: low reach
USC: match
Vanderbilt: match
Rice: high match (legacy prob helps! I wouldn’t know though! my parents went to UNL =D)
Colgate: high match
Oxford College of Emory University (safety): match

This is based off your stats! Everyone forgets how important essays are! CHance me back =) I’m somewhere on this forum haha =) Best of luck to you!! I applied to Pomona too but as regular so hopefully we both get in =)

Cornell ED: Match (I think you have a great shot)
Pomona ED II: Reasonable Reach
Northwestern: Safety-Match
Claremont Mckenna: Reasonable Reach
Bowdoin: Reasonable Reach
USC: Match
Vanderbilt: Match
Rice: Low Reach (the legacy definitely helps)
Colgate: Safety-Match
Oxford College of Emory University: Safety

This is a very well-thought out list. In fact, I don’t even see the other 9 as necessary; I think you’ll get into Cornell ED; the EC’s are a little weak, the UW GPA is a cause for concern, but everything else is terrific

Hope this helps!! Please chance me back

I think ur definetaly in for Vandy, and USC. Thats all I could help you out with.

Help me out??

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/966020-help-me-out-chance-me-few-schools.html

With your stats, Bowdoin down are all safeties.
Cornell and Pomona are slight reaches but I see you being accepted, regardless.
And the rest are targets.
Best of luck!

And please chance back

Much of the assessment here contradicts to stats published at places like collegeboard.com. Did people look them up before writing?

i would say vandy and northwestern you have a fairly good chance at, especially with your course load and sat scores. youre ec’s are very good and the letter of rec would definitely help. i agree with going ED on Rice to definitely get in because that is a very good school, especially if it is like an auto-in for you.

Cornell (applying ED)Low reach
Pomona (applying ED II if i dont get into Cornell) reach
Northwestern low reach
Claremont Mckenna idk
Bowdoin low reach
USC high match
Vanderbilt lower reach
Rice (double legacy, and grandfather used to be a proffessor there until a few years ago) Safty x 12
Colgate high match
Oxford College of Emory University i honestly dont know

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1032413-chance-me-please-high-level-colleges-2300-sat.html

hey, congrats on all of your achievements so far, and best of luck!
I’d agree with most of the above – cornell and pomona are more in the reach category, the rest lower reaches or matches. pomona is really up and coming and is getting increasingly difficult to get into. I looked at that for a bit…it sounds amazing.

new user…please chance and I’ll chance back, I will! (chance me back, how do I make it into a link?)

Your SAT’s are great, your GPA is a tad bit low for the Unweighted. However, your EC’s are also amazing. I think you have a shot at all those schools, but they will still be crap shoots for anyone considering how competitive they are.

Cornell (applying ED)-Low Reach(because ED, might be high match)
Pomona (applying ED II if i dont get into Cornell)-Same as Cornell
Northwestern-Low Reach
Claremont Mckenna-Low/mid reach
Bowdoin-High match/Low reach
USC-Mid/high match
Vanderbilt-Mid/high match
Rice (double legacy, and grandfather used to be a proffessor there until a few years ago)-High Match
Colgate-Mid/High match
Oxford College of Emory University (safety)-Low match/safety

I might be a little too optimistic, but you seem to have some pretty good stats.
