Ok, lets conceive the curve

I think the curve is the same for each version of the test (like January)

Math: (ours was really easy)
800 790 770 750 740
CR: (pretty easy, poem passage was annoying)
800 800 790 770 760
Writing: (I thought grammar was hard -.-)
Grammar: 80 78 76 75 73

Our math was hard.

is that a typical curve?

If the grammar was hard it will be more forgiving than what you listed.

im dont understand this curving process...can someone explain it to me?

Isn't grammar like 3 wrong still an 80 because there are more questions?

I don't think it's possible to get an 80 on grammar with 3 wrong, but I could be wrong. :P

im dont understand this curving process...can someone explain it to me?

Wow, I completely agree with you. I even think I got an 800 on M and high 700s on Cr but W like in 600s... ya for some reason the W was abnormally hard for me.

"Isn't grammar like 3 wrong still an 80 because there are more questions?"

No way would 3 wrong on MC yield 80. The W curve is just too unforgiving...

If your math was really easy I think that the latter scores you listed might dip down 10 or 20 points more in the curve, but I've only read the ranges/scores for example tests of moderate difficulties, so it's just a conjecture.

For real, yo.

I really hope that the writing curve is not like the january's:
80 78 75 ....

I think if you have a 12 essay you can get a few wrong and get 800w

"I think if you have a 12 essay you can get a few wrong and get 800w"

I really hope so. I'm kinda wary about the Writing section curve after that brutal January curve. =?

i just want to know what my scores are and then forget about sats and never hear of them again (that is, after i get into every single college i apply to, hopefully)

Woah, that cuve must have been jacked up. Missing two=75? My goodness, I really hope ours isn't like that . . . .

Was January's curve seriously like 80 78 75? Cuz I had a 10 essay adn 1 wrong with a 790...

yeah, for the gramamr subscore
