OK...My SAT on the 14th got cancelled...now what?!

Anyone else from any of the natural disaster areas in our country? I'm from Buffalo and I assume you've heard the news about our area. I just got power back after 6 days in the dark!!

Needless to say, our SAT got cancelled. This is so stressful. All of our test centers aren't up and running yet so the dates of rescheduling the test are "tba" according to the collegeboard.com.

Will we take the same one as you guys did? Will they make a new one for us? Was the Oct. one hard?

Thanks!
Hope you guys have been enjoying your electricity and heat! :-)

Different ones - of course. Probably same difficulty.. can't really say.. oct. one was not very hard.

I hope we have a new test then cuz math's my worst!!

The Western New York State Modified SAT?. People there should also be given priority in score calculations, given that this could have screwed up many ED attempts by those in the area.

kman, did u just make that up? r we getting a modified exam?

yea tell me about...EA deadlines are the 1st. its not cb's fault tho...its mother nature.

Of course I did...I don't know squat besides what is said on the CB's site, that the tests will be rescheduled.

yeah my best friend lives in new york and she told me. it sucks, esp if you wanted to apply ED

Last year when my October SAT reasoning got cancelled due to a teachers' strike, the college board post-poned it to October 29. So I guess they'd do the same this year if the same thing happened else where.
