Great business school if
a. you know you want to study business without a doubt and
b. you don't mind a bunch of white, conservative preps who want $$$$ only out of life

I would not call Babson prestigious at all if compared to the top business programs in the country. It is a good school certainly not elite though. It is true the campus culture is people who only want money in life. Although, money is a good thing to have and enjoying it is certainly fun, but to surround yourself EXCLUSIVELY with people who share that mindset can be detrimental to your job opportunities. You don't want to come off as a snobbish, arrogant person because even if you graduate with a 4.0 from Babson with those characteristics showing through in your interview you won't get the job.

Babson is ranked #1 for entrepreneurship. If you don't mind a very small school it is nice. I have heard though, that the workload at Babson is extremely tough and as a result gpa's fall very low. Bentley's workload is supposed to be challenging but not overhwhelming.

I was intially going to go to Bentley College which is very similar to Babson but decided to attend Penn State (a decision I regret). You should certainly give Bentley a look. Bentley is slightly bigger then Babson with 4,000 undergrads versus 1,700 at Babson and is more high tech. It has easier access to Boston if you are without a car via the daily free shuttle to Harvard Square. If you plan on doing banking or something finance/accounting related Bentley would be a better option as it has the #20th ranked program in accounting.

At Bentley students come from very very wealthy families. They sure don't mind showing it off either as you can find tons of kids who drive a BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche and even a Ferrari is not uncommon as a few kids in the past and also currently have them. (got that from studentsreview.com) Bentley is bigger in terms of student population so that "I want money" culture is certainly prevalent in most and will be seen all over campus. However, that "I want money" culture won't be the only priority of students.

If you want one of the most high-tech schools that offers excellent programs in accounting, finance and management information systems, with a slightly larger student body and easier access to Boston then I would go with Bentley.

If you want a school that is exclusively known for entrepreneurship and a bit smaller I would go with Babson.

Both schools have a large number of international students and both have a similar campus culture. Either one is an excellent choice. Apply to both and see what happens.

I'm hoping to transfer to Bentley or somewhere on the west coast (maybe USC )
