Is this a joke? You're completely qualified to get into all those schools. People like you need to stop posting on here. You don't need any reassurance, you just want to brag.

umm okay. I wasn't trying to brag. Many people around here have better stats than me and are still posting their stats for chances. So anyone else please?

Believe it or not I have seen similar get the reject letter from Duke. 65% chance there.

In everywhere else.

Your application has very little that stands out from the rest. True you are a good student--but so are most people who apply to duke--, but the majority of the things you listed are things you have "done". You certainly do have some awards, but most are local and just prove that you participated in way to many activities, instead of a select two or 3 and excelled. 20% chance

that's what I'm worring about. Nothing in national level. Some in-state and that's it. Thanks. Anyone else?

Rshankar - sorry, but you are wrong. I know a few people who got accepted to Duke and they weren't as impressive as he is, although they applied ED so they had an edge. Duke isn't as competitive as HYP etc. since many people apply from in-state because 1) their parents want them to, or 2) they really don't know how hard it is to get in, 3) they pulled for Duke's baseketball team - I know as it is the case for quite a few students in my high school. Of course they could reject him based on what you said, but he has much better than a 20% chance. I would put it closer to slipper's estimate, although if he had applied ED he would have had a much better shot.

In state doesn't matter with Duke though

That's not my point. Many kids from here apply to Duke thinking that it's just like any other college, which weakens part of the applicant pool.

what about at other schools other than duke?

bumpbumpbu

you should be in at all of those schools

my rents are from Taiwan too
