<p>Don't sugar-coat it. Here are the stats (I'm a junior, but I'm adding the AP's that I plan to have as a senior, and the team captain thing too)</p>

AP's: APUSH, Macro, Lang, Cal AB, Physics B, Chem, & Lit (7 total)
EC's: Varsity Golf 4 Years, Team Captain Junior and Senior year, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Treasurer of Technology Student Association (TSA), Work Experience (15 hours a week at a grocery store), Extemporaneous Speaking (Region Champ), Science Club
Race: White
Gender: Female
Essay: It's freaking fantastic! Really screams my personality...
Teacher Recs: I expect at least one really excellent one</p>

<p>Well if you can bring that SAT to at least a 2200 then id say you have a good shot. Your ECs are decent so try to join a club that pertains to your major to show passion. </p>

<p>You have wonderful accomplishments and a noteworthy GPA. But, Vandy is a very very competitive school. I agree with the commenter above, higher SAT. Try to get at least 700 in each section. I’ve heard from multiple people that Vandy is very very concerned with their rank and raising it. This means that they need higher averages of SAT and GPA. Therefore, extracurriculars are not nearly as important as statistics. </p>

<p>Another tip would be to apply ED or EDII. It makes a difference and shows your commitment! Also, have an alum interview!</p>
