ok, so Who's submitted the intent to enroll??

I just did :D because i'm not waiting for anymore universities and i've decided.
The menu in your webportal becomes pretty cool after you sent in the $100 heh

Well lets make a list of important dates:

May 1st - Last Day to Submit Intent to Enroll
May 1st - Housing forms available
July 14th - Register for classes
Aug 18th - Orientation for Freshmen
Aug 28th- Fall 2006 Classes begin!

where did you get the dates for fresh. orientation? ive been looking all over!

They sent me a letter with a few dates on it and i had to choose one orientation to go to, and here's a site:

http://www.sa.sdsu.edu/isc/calendar.html

it's the international student's site, but there shows orientation for everyone:

August 18th – Orientation for Freshmen and Local Community College Tranfers only

August 21st – Orientation for all transfers and Graduate Students that have been in the country for more than six months

August 22nd – Orientation for all transfers and Graduate Students that have been in the country for less than six months

awesome, danny!

I've submitted the intent to enroll... :-)

Did you decide on housing yet??

are u an international?
internationals get to download the housing papers on april 19th
so if u are be prepared :D and the $800 dollars too

i am thinking to choose
1. cuic suites single (lots of doubles n singles in one big room)
http://www.sa.sdsu.edu/housing/floorplans/Cuicsuite.jpg heres pic
2. chapultepec hall double
3. university towers

those are my choices.. i want to concentrate on academics so zura is a nono lol
and i will go with the 10 meal plan which is the cheapest of all.
i think my first choice is a bit expensive though.. so i will think some more and talk with my parents.

No, I am an out-of-state..Application goes out for everyone May 1st, at 10 am (CA time)...:-)

Yeah, I am thinking to get a cuic suite single, too. I visited SDSU this summer, so I've seen it to be VERY NICE!!! :-) I recommend. Eventhough it's more expensive, I think you'll have more privacy for studying.

i wanna b in zura and i plan on studying in the library or the designated quite study room in the dorm.

see, I am not like that! I need to be on the bed... totally relaxed.. listening to the radio... it's like my perfect studyuing atmosphere :-)

yea thats true, but if it gets loud in zura, ill just turn the music up a lil more. =)

Hey.. what about the orientation on August 18th?
I went on the website and they had different days for orientation for each major. For business and administration it's from July 17th to August 3d.. so I don't get where the August 18th comes from?

riptide,

yeah! that's one way to handle it!!! But I think you should definetely check out the dorm itself and judge how it looks like and everything until you decide your first choice!!

yea my zura decision isnt final yet, once i visit em. ill decide for sure.

haha yea i have always been studying on my bed all comfy as well
its kinda hard for me to study in the library for some reason

danny
same with me... :-)))

just wondering, what is on your page when u click admission status in your webportal?

they said it should show what documents they need from me and and what else they still need to receive

but my admission status page still says the exact same thing before i sent the intent to enroll. so what does ur say?

Mine says:

Again congratulations on your admission to SDSU!

So, they says they need transcript w/ fall grades, AP scores.

i had that message for like 2 weeks after i submitted my intent to inroll.....but then it changed and addded like 6 rows of new choices under admissions status

Maybe that's when they receive your transcript and verify? :-)

argh crap my page has none of that.. it even still has the intent to enroll button for me to click..
i guess i'll have to email them and tell them to fix up my page

and what are the 6 rows of choices for??
