ok. what do i do. or what would you do if you were me.

I'm an international applicant from Canada.. my concern is in regards to my midyear report... I got a B in english honors 10 & 11 accelerated in 10th grade.. 2% away from an A. (86 - 100 in BC, and trust me, none in my grade of 400 has straight As since 9th. and my school is highly academic, has biggest ap program in canada) then i got a b AGAIN in term 1, in eng lit ap.. again 2% away from an A... but i did get an A last year.. and the highest mark in the class for Eng lituerature 12 honors in 11th grade... the bad thing is, my school has the system that when a student takes ap eng lit, they get TWO COURSES on the transcript, ap eng lit, and ENG 12... what they do is they raise the eng ap mark by 3% to give the eng 12 mark.. so i only have 87 for eng 12.. 1% above an A... THIS is not my true ability at all... if i had been in eng 12 reguar, i could have easily gotten over 92%....

the previous eng ap teacher who has taught for 15 years of AP retired this year.. so this new teacher is around 8 years older than i am, and completely doesnt know what she is doing.... she is not really consistent with her marking and plays favors... members of the class wrote her an anonymous note, but she passed it around the class "ask us to sign or else she will ignore it." lol how immature? i dont want to complain.. but its just my situation is so perculiar.. how would u deal with it? eng is my weakness already.. and the b just compounded it...

what do you think i should do in my case? i havnt sent in my mid year reports yet.. i am thinking of asking my eng teacher to do a print out of my second term mark as of now, hopefully its higher than 84% and 87%... otherwise, ive had straight As.. im really worried... gosh....

to give u some background, i got 740 on writing. 690 on verbal frist try, i retook in jan, i dont know the score yet...

i am trying to get a mid-second trimester report from my eng teacher to add to it.. she is giving it to me next week...

If I were you, I would stop freaking out. If you re-took your test with your previous scores as they were, you should be fine at most colleges, etc.

I am curious: If Princeton is so much your first choice that you chose the name here of "Princetonwannabe" why are you asking so many questions on the Harvard board?

Its cuz they don't have a Northstarmom on the Princeton board!

thats right northstarmom you are awesome

maybe he was deferred there and H was his 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice? Could that be Mr. B?

The fact that Princeton is my first choice school doesn't mean I do not want to go to Harvard.

Since I was deferred from Princeton, most of the questions are in regards to schools like Harvard and they have nothing to do with Princeton. Also, Harvard board has experienced interviewers and students who might know the answers to the questions better.
