ok what in the world... commonapp prob

<p>i was submitting my app to two colleges, right? so i submit it to college 1 with the app and payment and everything. ok! so when i submit my supp and payment to college 2, THE COMMON APPLICATION WOULDN'T LET ME GO BACK AND CHANGE THE NAME OF THE COLLEGE IN THE PERSONAL ESSAY ON THE APPLICATION EVEN WHEN I TRIED TO ACCESS THE COPY OF THE APPLICATION SPECIFICALLY FOR COLLEGE 2. WHAT IN THE WORLD.........
I looked at the FAQs and they said that we could change the application itself for another college even after we've sent off another completed application to another college, so i should have been able to go back and change the name of the college in my personal essay...............................................................................
but i made the deadline for both, but i'm still pretty heated right now</p>

<p>I'm glad I realized this right after I applied to my EA schools. This is why you have to replicate your Common App if you wanna make changes.

<p>You have to replicate the application to be able to change your essay. Did you not understand that, or did it not let you?</p>

<p>ok i'm not gonna lie... i just figured that out, since this is the first time i'm actually using this (unlike blinkangel i didnt use this for EA/ED) ugh, oh well.... i'm only screwed for one college though... i'll just call them and explain</p>
