Ok, you guys are the guys to ask

Well, I posted a comment in the What are my chances room, but i think you guys would be the ones to ask.

Any Chance?

Football (Team captain, being recruited by Harvard, Princeton, Hopkins, CMU, all conference two years running, All Academic team (state)) *MIT coach wrote me a letter of reccomendation, which probably isn't a big deal...

Olympic Weightlifting (snatch and clean and jerk, the event in the olympics where guys lift weights over their heads) - Two time national medalist (silver, bronze) East coast gold (largest Weightlifting club in the country) record holder.

Olympic Weightlifting Congress - Governing body of USA Weightlifting, I was a delegate to this event. We helped establish rules and pick the olympic team.

I have some other stuff such as Math League and Class President too.

Anyways, comments?

jesus christ! if MIT doesn't want you I'm sure the US Special Forces would!

Lol, comment on the math score though? Is it ok?

Gotta remember, I'm a fat lineman. Special Forces ops are normally stealthy, something that doesn't really happen at 280lbs.

700M is fine, as are your other scores :)

Past your scores, grades, and rank, it's everything "else".

Yeah, i'm anxiously hoping, as evidenced by my insta-replies. I know MIT is always a crapshoot, but hey, still gotta apply. Just glad to know my SAT math doesn't knock me out of the game. It's either this or CMU probably (Dad's a big alum, oh wait he was a CMU electrical engineer if that matters at all).

It definitely doesn't knock you out of the game. :)

Don't worry about test scores, you're fine. Concentrate on the things that are more important (to you and the Institute)--your passions.

Hopefully I'll be playing with you on the Engineers next year :)

emmitisgod, do you have a screename or some medium where i could talk to you?

emmittisgod ;)
