okay AP vs. Great Regular

I have a dilema for next term.
I have a choice to be in an AP class which i know i would get either an 85 or a 90 in ( most likely a 90) .
If i dont chose to be in this class, I can take the regual high school level in this subject, which i am able to get a 95 maybe even 100.
I would like to hear opinions on this matter.
Which one would look better to a person reviewing your college application ?
Thanks =))

If I would be in your position, there would be no dilemma: AP it is.
I wouldn't waste knowledge for some bleeding 5% and piece-of-crap mark on your paper saying that you got A, not A-.

^ yup... I'd go for AP

I'd go the AP route as well.

Personally, I can't stand the students in honors or regular classes...they are annoying and immature haha.

It's not that hard to make a high A in an AP class, just study hard and do all of the work.

definitely AP

Jman, that's extremely odd...honors is still good...immature? ya okay

It's probably different at your school, but....

Our classes are mixed, meaning there could be 50% honors students and 50% regular students in one class. They do this because it makes more stable class sizes and easier scheduling for students. Not only that, but we have 9th grade students in Chemistry (normally for 10th graders) and 9th grade students in Algebra 2 or Precalculus. Alot of the freshman are loud and immature. Combine them with 10th graders who act like they are still in elementary school and you have chaos. (I'm in 10th grade).

All of this contributes to me wanting to take all possible AP's. Actually, I should have taken AP Chemistry instead of honors now that I think of it.

Like I said, I'm sure other schools are different.

College adcoms would rather see a B in an AP class than an A in a regular class. They want to see that you are attempting the harder class.

Take the AP course.

no, they want you to get an A in an AP class

Thank You all for your responses.
I am going into AP =))

Good decision. It's a good experience.

Just go AP, much better.

AP woot...

Good job. Colleges see that you're taking the most challenging class available and they like it.
