In order to begin the submission process, you must first have the following items completed:
All sections of the Common Application
All of this College’s Questions
All required Recommender assignments

So, you can’t print preview until these items are completed??? If so, that’s not very user friendly.

CA4 is terrible! CommonApp 3 was FAAAAR better than this rubbish. It looked a little antiquated but you could have just changed the design… why screw with our applications with CA4?

Basically, CA3 worked fine – and now you broke it.

"On a side note, not much has been heard from the Common Application membership as they process what all this means for them, especially those proposing to use information from the member pages and writing supplements to complete their reviews of applicants.

Hopefully colleges will update their websites and make their requirements extremely clear on webpages dedicated to admissions—if for no other reason but that we have no idea how long these kinds problems will persist."

If CA4 problems persist, perhaps some colleges will allow paper applications.

We submitted a Help Desk request with a specific question, and got back a response the next day that said that the “Common App Help Desk is working on formulating answers to questions on certain topics, and if the questions is not in those areas, it should be submitted again.” That does not seem like a great process to me…someone should be reading the Help Desk questions and actually responding to them.
At this point, I am sure that any problems one user is encountering are also being experienced by other users.
