Okay everybody get chanced here

**If you notice carefully not many chancs posts get above 5 or 6 replies. So i thought of this idea. People who want to get chanced post your info along with a serial number. people who want to respond, respond to the chances post by referring to that particular Post serial no. only profiles can have serial no’s.

For Example : if i wanted to get chanced i would say

Serial No 001 -

-my resume

anybody who would want to chance me, will respond saying " with ref to Serial no 001 and then respond. "

this way

  1. we dont clutter the board with unnecesary chances threads
2)we also satisfy the anxious to be brownies.
    **

asking them to go to the chances board, was in my opinion a little unfair.
ifthis thread picks up, we could ask the moderator to sticky it. and that way our board would not have unnecesary chances threads, which no body is replying to.

dont like the idea or what?

It's a good idea, but probably won't fly with new members, they don't read stickys anyway. It might take some redirecting, but is generally a good idea.

I like the idea--I had the same one myself. Hopefully it catches on.

haha I cant miss this!

I am painfully aware of a very average GPA, that is actually closer to 3.7. I speculate that I can raise my SAT score to 2300+ and am confident in a 35 on the SAT. I am apprehensive because I spent a lot of my time focusing on extracurriculars and it has taken a toll on my GPA. I go to a very challenging private high school (consistently 2nd in the nation according to polls) which only adds .25 per AP class on a 100 point scale. I am very apprehensive about the admissions process as there is much pressure by my parents to get into a top-class university. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Tier I (Reach): University of Pennsylvania (Early Decision), Cornell, Brown, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, WashU, Northwestern, U Chicago, (Stanford—might not apply do to likelihood of getting in)

Teacher #2 9/10: Tenured English Teacher, exceptional letter (I peeked at it whoops)
Optional Rec: 9/10: Chief Scientific Officer of aforementioned Biotechnology Company
Counselor: 7/10: Described me as an awesome student, one of the best in her career and I hung out in her office a lot so we knew each other pretty well. Mentioned that I took every AP class available excluding language and art classes and took Calc 3 and linear algebra in 11th

@marginallyadept Look at the date of this thread. These people are up right now with a midnight feeding of their first kid or about to go off to work. They’re not monitoring their dusty CC accounts.
