Okay. I don't understand the question.

I don’t want to sound dumb, though I may be.
But I really don’t understand this question.

Describe your activities during periods of time (other than summer vacations) when you were not enrolled in college. Do you plan to spend the Spring term away from your current college or university? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, please describe, in chronological order, your activities or employment during these periods.

So this is one of the UVa supplement essay questions for transfer students.

So the thing is that the first sentence is Not a question, but the third sentence asks “if the answer to either of these questions is yes.”

And if I never had a period of time not enrolled in college other than “summer vacation” (unless they mean I can write about my Winter Vacation -_-), so I just answer the second part of the question?

I know I’m sounding crazy and all over the place.
But please do make this clear for me… will you?

Did you ever take any time off from college, or when you get long-*** breaks between terms (like a month long winter vaca) and left the campus, what did you do??
If you're not sure you're best best though would be to call and ask. don't worry about them thinking you sound dumb - they'll be glad you're taking the time to worry about detail.
