Hi! I am going to be applying for biochem at CAS.</p>
<p>I gave SAT I in june and my was score was really low : 1610 CR550 M560 W500 (SHOCKED)
Im going to give it again in october and also bio/m and chem subject tests in november.</p>
<p>i got 115/120 in toefl</p>
<p>my 12th grade percentage was 84.6% (im an international student)</p>
<p>they dont disclose grades unless required..and i was the topper of my class for four consecutive years. Won the scholar's trophy each year with the valedictorian medal and special honor in the final year.</p>
<p>Subject topper in english, bio, chem, environmental education...all except physics.</p>
<p>play basketball, chess,tennis, kho-kho and the guitar and i have won quite a few regional and state competitions in these..</p>
<p>i have excellent recommendation letters.</p>
<p>My ECs :
2 year internship in a pharma company research lab ..and currently 1 yr full-time (40hrs/week) at the same company's research facility under a well known scientist. !!
2 years volunteer for managing school library.
2 years teaching assistant for 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12th grade students for english, science, computer applications and social studies.
Volunteer/youth leader at a NGO for cancer patients since four years
Volunteer at several other organizations for blind, special children etc. i also help them in building new rooms for the blind people.
Studied and reported an article in the local newspaper regarding damaged roads, improper waste disposal etc and the municipal commission corrected these problems after reading this issue.
