Hey guys. First and foremost, I'd like to thank you for all helping me with this (and I know I've posted these stats before, but I just think I'm missing something). Like everybody else, I poured through huge piles of mail and visited about 10 schools and it just seems like I'm missing the ideal college for me.
I'd like a school with either no core or just limited distribution requirements so I can pursue all my interests. I would like to pursue studies in Music (history, theory, and composition in particular), History (ancient and maritime), English (creative writing and mythology), Astronomy, and Theater (playwriting and musical theater).
Now with that established, I need to find a school that I can get into. I rank in the top 11-13% of my class in the highest ranked school in WNY, a Jesuit prep school (although our school doesn't believe in ranking, both the school itself and the student body), with a 93% average (3.75-4.0 GPA). I took AP Gov., Eco., English Literature and Composition, and U.S. History, as well as an Honors course in Word Processing (Freshman year). On my SAT's, I scored 660 on Verbal and 590 on Math (I know those are low, but I'm aiming for at least 700 V and 650 M, as well as 700 on Writing--I was nervous the first time, okay?).
Now--extracurriculars and such. I'm really not into political activism (yeah, I have views, but I tolerate other's, too) and the schools that caught my I are really into that (not to metion ultra ultra ultra liberal--I sway to that side, just not so active about it, you know?). I also really like musical theater and opportunities in that venue would be awesome. I'm also not much of a partier, so those Greek-oriented party schools aren't for me. Oh yeah, a small school would be nice (and if there's one with all the above criteria in NYC, Ii'd be in heaven).
Well, that's it (I know its a lot). Thanks a lot everyone who took the time to read this and your suggestions are highly valued.

Brown as a reach...except I'm not sure about music/theater.

History (marine archaeology/history classes in anthropology department) and English are both very strong. The astronomy program is pretty good, based on a very solid physics curriculum. The lack of core requirements is another fit, as is the liberal atmosphere.
