Okay I'm freaking out

I'm already done with my essay and about to turn it in. Then I read several of the topic in CC and people mention that in the UC 3rd essay, people write about special circumstances like family problem or their experience moving over here from another country. However for mine I did it on an experience in running and how I struggle to run faster and get a good time. It's not like I have any disability that prevent me from running. Is that appropriate for this topic? I don't really want to start writing a new essay right now.

i think its ok...cuz the prompt never said u HAVE to have a special family circumstance, i interpreted it as being open ended, they just want to know more about you, you don't necessarily have to write about a unique cirumstance

^^^ Yep (10 char.)

It is open-ended. You don't need to be unique or anything...just be yourself...:D

okay. I'm feeling better.

seriously don't worry about that. these essay's are so open ended you can approach them in infinite ways. my buddy wrote about weeding, and it was a terrific essay.
