Okay so should I apply early action or regular decision right now? (help please)

So unfortunately the first time around I took the SAT I was not ready for the material on the test and my score was kind of low (I made a 1710).
My idiotic parents told me to not even worry about college admissions but instead focus on the SAT. After I took the SAT on October 10th my dad told me to wait on my scores which come out on October 29th and THEN apply to colleges. Now all of a sudden he starts yelling at me telling me that I need to start ordering applications or something.

The college which I want to apply to has an Early Action deadline for November 1st. Should I still apply early action or should I wait till regular decision?

University of Vermont is the college I am looking at out of state. I have some other colleges on my list as well. I am applying to 5 schools out of state and 3 schools in GA.

I would apply early to University of Vermont if it is your first choice. You should start on the application as soon as possible and you will get your scores back before Nov first so if you ended up doing a lot worse then you can wait until the RD deadline to submit!
Good luck!

thanks I will see about that
