I am applying to a variety of schools with differing requirements for transfer admission. Some universities do not require letters of rec while others do not require mid term reports. Would it be okay to send in forms that are not explicitly required in my application? Specifically, I was looking to send in a letter of rec to USC even though none are required, as well as a mid term report to Carnegie Mellon. I am confident that both of these documents would increase my chances of admission, but I'm not sure if it's kosher to.
