Okay, so I've used up every new SAT practice exam I could find and am reduced to using the tests from 10RS. My question is, do these exams give an accurate picture of math/verbal score on the new test, or are the exams just so different that a comparison would be meaningless?

I find that the CR sections are pretty close. . . that is, if you are skipping the analogies, of course.

After all, the CB has been known to recycle passages (using a long passage from an old test as a short passage on a new test, for example), so we can be pretty sure that the CB intends the difficulty level to be similar or identical.

The obvious exception here is that if short passages blow you out of the water, your score on the old tests will be artifically high.

Thank you! How about the mathematics sections?

You know, I don't tutor math, but I asked one of our math tutors that same question and he said that the old SAT was pretty comparable (with a few minor exceptions that I forget; I remember them as being really small). I think you can safely use them for practice.

Does College Board post your PSAT score on your account on CB website as soon as the score is available? Or you get your score through your school first and then CB posts it later?
