Based on the overall atmosphere on campus, academics, social life, student involvement, etc etc, what would be a better place, Mississippi or Baylor?

Baylor is better academically. Ole Miss has better campus. Id choose Baylor just for the academics

Southern Baptist politics can have a chilling effect on academic freedom on a college campus. The free exchange of ideas can be constrained to the exchange of only those ideas that don't offend the sensibilities of the factions in power. If you're a Southern Baptist and you're OK with this, then you understand the dynamics that come with a school like Baylor. If you're not, then ask some questions and explore.

^^ What he said. I disagree that Baylor is stronger academically.

Yeah...Baylor probably is stronger, but it really doesn't matter at that point, as both schools aren't known for academics.

Do not go to Ole Miss.

LOL. Well thats blunt! Both schools arent well known for academics. What are your stats?

The girls at Ole Miss are WAY hotter. Great if you're a guy, probably not so much if you're a girl.

The Grove...yeah.

probably baylor

Ole Miss

As a student who hasn't done much research on the academics at those schools, I have a perception of Baylor as being much better academically. Location wise, I've never really seen either campus, but if I had to chose between Mississippi and Texas, it would be Texas... hands down. The state of Mississippi sucks.

I'd pick Ole P!ss personally

The only good that came out of Ole Miss were Archie and Eli Manning. Pick Baylor.
