I'm stuck between these 2 schools. Rhodes is my dream school, but lately I've been thinking that maybe Ole Miss would be a better choice for me. My GPA is a 3.3, SAT 1790. I would say that I do like to party. I want to be challenged and I want to get a good education, but I don't want to be so stressed with school work that I'm not able to enjoy my college experience. Tell me what you think.

It all depends on what you want to study and what your career goals are ultimately. Because the schools are so different, it’s hard to compare. Rhodes is a small, private, liberal arts college whereas Ole Miss is a larger, public, liberal arts college. Admissions standards and size are vastly different.

I would encourage you to visit both schools (tours, admissions office, financial aid, meet with academic departments) and talk with students you know who attend both schools whose opinions you trust and can give you more than one side of the coin.

You have plenty of time to make a decision. Do your research and best of luck in the decision!
