Olympics are coming up: Which country/team will you support?

okay, so i got this idea from LMU's question in my other thread (><, hope you don't mind), and so I thought, why not ask all of CC? XD

so, what country would you support? or more specifically, which country will you support a certain team for?

i don't have a specific country i want to support for each sport, but i just want team Korea to do their best!!

woo hwaiting!! XDDDDD

Hehehe I'm not mad.

I'm a supporter of Team Japan!
(My brother is a Marine over there, so I guess, I can say that). He was also in South Korea, and he said, that it was like a land of no laws. Nobody got in trouble for anything. People can drive on sidewalks and nothing happens. It was weird.

^ i've heard similar things too, for some reason. my experiences there have nott been like that, hahaha

what i HAVE seen though (well i wasn't actually there), are korean fans protesting certain music groups while they are PERFORMING in CONCERT!

so sad, lol

Lmao.

You know what else I just read, is that, MSN.com said Seoul, South Korea is the 4th most expensive city in the world to live in.

it's probably true. i wouldn't be surprised. it's so crowded + so many people there, and so a large amount of people with not that much land drives up prices!

D:

i have two friends that came from korea two years ago, and they told me korean websites put a lot of stuff on their web pages (i guess using a lot of bandwith?), but all those sites load really slowly in america. meaning that in korea, the internet there is much more faster, and much more capable of holding all the stuff korean websites put on their sites.

it's interesting how optimum online can seem like its really fast, but there's something faster out there somewhere else, hahah

A few Asian countries have what's kinda like a nationwide network, and I think they de-prioritize traffic not coming from their own country, so it gets slowed down that way (I know some sites have even filtered out foreigners so they don't suck up bandwidth).

Anyway...

Same. Especially that Indian guy who's competing for the USA, Raj Bhavsar. But yeah, USA.

USA first. Then Italy.

Team USA!

Especially since Nigeria's Olympic squad is always weak. :(

how do you guys color, boldface, italicize your fonts??

bold press control and b then type between the 1st and 2nd paranthesised bs*[/b] without the *

italic same but i instead of b

If you have already typed the text put ** at the begining of the text you want to bold and [*/b] without the * at the end

To quote something the same but with
[quote]
[*/quote] without the *

like this??
