For some reason, at every test, there are always snifflers!

to make you feel better, they ran out of desks for students in our classroom, and a couple of kids (including me of course T.T) had to use clipboards…

^What? That’s ridiculous. There is no way they should have been allowed to do that. Don’t they check the rooms to make sure there are enough desks before administering the test?

^ true, we even got assigned seats before the start of the test…

I was a sniffler. I sneezed once, and this huge black kid like two rows behind and across from me said, “God… bless… yo SOUL!” It was fricking hilarious…

^ LOL that’s great.

I was fortunate to have a nice and quiet testing room; I wouldn’t have survived otherwise! I’m one of those people who needs absolute silence to focus well, especially for critical reading, so I was fully prepared to yell at anyone who made a disturbance ie. kicking my chair, tapping pencils etc.

nothing really bad, but for this one SAT test i brought a watch, and the proctor said “no electronic devices.” lol ***. and so for the most recent SAT i didn’t bring a watch, cause i didn’t want that happening again, and what do you know, i get a seat that is underneath the stupid clock. and so i go and complain to him telling him i want to switch seats, and he’s like no can do, you should have brought a watch. lol. talk about the irony.
everything worked out though, cause he was nice enough to shout out the time

there was this one girl who dropped her calculator like 10 freaking times. jesus. and then another girl comes in late and drops her calculator as soon as she enters, and so the proctor’s like, ‘you guys related?’ hahah.

you can bring a watch, as long as you can silence the beep-on-the-hour.

In Jan, a kid had HORRID B.O. - I don’t know how the kids around him stood it. It was cold, and the window had to be opened anyway. The stench lingered even after the class left the room.

I absolutely HATE when this happens…

I had a guy who coughed every other second throughout the entire test. So annoying.

I…had a quiet testing session. What do you know??? :O

For the March SAT, my seat was all the way in front, and right in front of me was a heater that made a ton of noise.

But that’s nothing compared to some of the problems you guys have experienced.

Actually no, now I remember, there were like 5 cell-phone ringing disruptions by the proctor and she stopped us 10 minutes short on a CR section… LOL.

Did you inform her that you still had ten minutes?

The name of this thread reminds me of a certain SNL digital short.

i was so annoyed during the better the part of the SAT
the room that i was in started later than the other rooms
so when i was in the middle of sections i could hear all of the kids talking
very loudly outside and i was sitting right next to the door
soooooo anoying

My group was told not to talk and there were a couple of teachers outside ensuring that that occurred.

The only strange thing that happened during my test was that a kid decided his break was 15 minutes long, as opposed to five, and walked in halfway through a section. I was sitting in the corner though, so I zoned that out.

I had a friend who took her SAT in a ghetto neighborhood and none of the kids were finishing on time, so the proctor kept giving them more time -.-

wow so lucky O_o
