Omg 17 Days

On second thought, my realistic chance of getting accepted is around 0% and my chance of defferal is around 15% and the rest is definately rejection. I'll be happy with a defferal so with that in mind... Cornell looks soo sexy right now ... ;)

I'm guessing Princeton won't be like Columbia and reveal when they will send it, just making it more stressful and aggravating?

yup, isn't that just wonderfu;?

i called'em and they were like "around Dec 15"

I was like...thanks that helps

grrrrrrrr

Dartmouth's decisions are being mailed on the 7th, so hopefully you guys will find out soon!

Although I'm a Dartmouth EDer, I live 30 minutes outside of Princeton and I just love the school (and Nassau street)! So, good luck everyone!!

If the other Ivies (Columbia,Dartmouth) are sending them out next week, don't you think Princeton will do the same, but is just being discrete?????

don't think so, they have alot more apps to process...

I would think it would be comparable to Columbia's number of ED apps

Does Princeton ever go public with their notification date? Do they ever list it online or do they just send when they can? Since all these other Ivies are publicizing their dates for sending decision, I was wondering if anyone knew if Princeton ever did this, in years past?

When I emailed Princeton, they replied to say that they hope to send out the letters by 14th Dec. Not sure if that is the confirmed date.

Aw, that's disappointing. I was really looking forward to not having to wait another weekend after this one.

Cheer up! I am international and will have to wait even longer. Especially if it's a deferral/rejection in which case they come in normal airmail, unlike DHL for acceptance.

Yeah, my GC called pton today and got the same info- they will most likely be mailing on the 14th. Ugh.

Princeton snail-mails ED and RD decisions according to their stated schedules; nothing online. (Yale's EA decisions come first online before the snail-mail; last spring they were posted on the web ahead of schedule.)

Ahh why the prolonged agony?

which means I'll definitely have to do my apps due Dec. 15th!! Damn! I mean, I'm sure it won't be for nothing anyway as an acceptance letter seems unlikely, but STILL...

I heard that all the Ivies are going for December 8th. I know Penn and Columbia have online accept/defer/rejected sites that you have to log in to. Do the others have it?

It'd be nice to get a Princeton decision on the 8th. Then I can completely relax before finals...

It's my understanding that Princeton does mailing of decisions, by the way.

Yes, I think that they mail the decisions, but why are they sending there decisions four days later this year?

Well, apparently the date for interviewers to submit their information is December 7, so I would guess decisions would be at least week after that? I think I'm correct in assuming that, but I don't know the whole process of what they do with interviews... wonder if everything goes back in front of the board again?
