OMG: Chances

lol kai gave you the shaft. if you don't post a photobucket of his stats, i dont see a reason for anyone else to post on this thread.

Hey. I also got a 2400 SAT score. Do you think Harvard will accept me?

scherzando1: AHAHAHA APRIL FOOLS!!! AHAHAHA!!!

=D

You can never tell if sb will get accepted into Harvard solely by their SAT scores...you may as well belong to the other 50% that will get rejected MonoTombo

Lol I Was Kidding

Lol!!
Well, what I said still stands..i presume. Right?
And as I have said before, stop judging and questioning the credibility of the boyfriend of the OP. Just evaluate, since it does not matter anyway. If you discredit him now and it turns out he is not fictional, will that change his actual chances?

Whats wrong in getting a perfect score?
And it is POSSIBLE to be social and be kick-ass at studies :)

I think you/hez got a good chance at the ivies!!
but hey.. even that doesnt garuntee addmission... but HIGH CHANCES :)
good luck

I concur. And do not forget that it is all dependent upon the whole picture that the applicant conveys through essays, and so on..

Shouldn't he be the one worrying about what college he'll be accepted to?

And shouldn't you be the one worrying about your own acceptances?

well with that proof of his perfect score, and his 4.0, here are my predictions

accepted at local community college, but waitlisted everywhere else.

Sorry, but life's tough =P

in debate terms, i think he should $hit spread the ivies, as they are unpredictable these days
i'd say 98% chance on getting into at least one, probably more
then again, a friend of mine with 1580 who won princeton and cleared at the toc was rejected by all ivies except maybe cornell (cant remember)
hes at swarthmore now

Hmm. Mono, I meant MY camera was bad, not the whole batch of them. If I happened to have hurt YOUR camera's feelings, tell it "sorry" from me, scherzando. :)

Doctorx, are you talking about the Tournament of Champions? My boyfriend and I both do interp, and we're not part of the NFL...

Mono.. chill out.

To the OP, Essays/representation of his ECs will be the deciding factor. Good luck to him.

Where did the pictures go?

Replying to orignial post:

No not really.. try the local community college

umm....you're kind of jumping to conclusions about people being "jealous", and kind of being haughty/rude with that really long essay-like post.

....kind of ridiculous....

Harvard = 40%
Princeton = 40%
MIT = 47%
Stanford = 35%
U of Chicago = 65%
Carleton C = 95%
Columbia = 35%
U of California (berkeley) = 95%

I suggest he should write an essay about something having to do with his social life, because adcoms might assume he doesn't have one.

omg, it is so not impossible to get a 2400 lollll...even in my suburb outside a medium-sized city i know at least 2 people who got 2400/4.0/5s on all APs...why are people here so skeptical? i think her bf's scores are definitely NOT over the top...he just sounds like a pretty accomplished, amazing person. he'll get in somewhere great, but none of us can guarantee exactly where!
