I went to the online decisions casually to see if my decision was up and in looking at my information not all my scores were there. It says:

SAT Verbal: 600 Math: 800
SAT II: WR680 2C800 UH730 LR680

My Nov. scores had 800V and 730WR, and my Dec. scores had LR700. And yes, I did improve my Verbal from 600 to 800, hard as that is to believe.

Needless to say, I find it very discouraging that my SAT is a 1400 when it should be a 1600. This is the kind of thing that could very well break my admission and definitely break any shot at scholarships.

Perhaps I am just venting, but does anyone have any info that could possibly make me feel better? :) I plan to call the admissions office tomorrow (today) when they open.

Thanks...

EDIT: I also haven't heard anything yet and my decision isn't up online, so I am becoming more and more sure I am rejected. I know scores aren't everything, but I sure hope this isn't the reason...

on the status page, i ithink they just randomly put one standing score up just to let you know that they have received the scores. When I called, a *****y lady said that "If you sent it, we all have it in the folder, but not online"
So, I am guessing that they will all have your scores in file.

okay I just spoke to them & they only have the 1400 on record supposedly, even though I sent them my scores AND they are listed on my transcript.

She also said that it says they haven't made a decision on me, so I am almost positive I am rejected. I can't believe this...I wonder if I was rejected with my 1400 or 1600. Are 1600's really rejected from Humanities & Social Sciences?!?!?!?!?! Computer Science I could understand, but Social Sciences?

Sorry for the rant, but I am way stressed about colleges as it is and this is making it a zillion times worse.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

as I always say, a 1600 in SAT and a 4.0 UW GPA wont get u in necessaruily. If u write ur essays in 'All your base english' ur rejected for sure

The same thing happened for me, they didn't have my latest SAT2 Math Level 2 score, but I caught it and my college advisor had to call like 3 times at the beggining of March to straiten everything out.

School lost record of application fee payment. I had to show a credit card statement receipt.

Lost D's student records: transcripts, teacher recs, SATs. School ended up sending three times and faxing.

Lost financial aid info that I dropped off in person at the admissions desk.

I was told that the info was likely put into another folder.

I am sorry to hear this happened to you.

With all the IT systems and process folks, they really need to fix this...

My SAT scores "didn't seem to make it" to the admissions office the first two times. I had to send them a third time after the SAT report deadline before they registered in the tracking system... Good luck!

Yes it is possible and did you apply to Info Systems or Econ? Both of those are administered in diff schools so it may depend on that but just because you haven't heard yet does not mean you are rejected.

the same thing happened to me...

They somehow didn't get my best SAT 2 science score (780 vr 720) but I still got in.

hmmm.... i just checked online and my decision isn't up yet either.... im a little nervous now
