Attention: The deadline for submitting your freshman application has been extended to January 7, 2006 (must be postmarked by that date). Alternatively, you may apply online until January 7, 2006.

WOOHOO!!!
I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO MY DAD'S OFFICE TO GET THOSE STUPID TAX RETURN FORMS ON NEW YEAR'S DAY!

OMG......ARE U @!$@#$@# serious....Thats the best message Ive read....ALL YEAR

Oops
someone posted this before me in the fin.aid thread.
sorry i didn't see that and props to that poster.

Does everyone have to file for financial aid? or is it optional?

WOOOOOT. Now i don't have to go to my dad's office and fudge the postmark!

Yay, i can send an updated essay.
Question: to whom do I send this to?

OMG!! And after all that trouble of going to Fedex on New Year's Eve...sigh now I have sooo many regrets on my mind :|

I LOVE YOU

i almost didnt check cornell CC....one of those moments :D

Hey, so if we are sending an updated Academic Interest essay, do we email it, or send a letter via air-mail?

DUDE!, this is great...I just wish Brown would do the same thing lol.

I already sent mine... oh well.

Haha they did this last year, too. I'm wondering if its just a ploy for them to make sure your applications are as good as possible or something like that...

It's a ploy to get more applicants.

You do not HAVE to file FA, you may instead choose to check "not applying for FA."

then you get no $ and we all aren't rich :(

This is great, but is there a reason why they did this? I'm assuming they don't do this every year, so why this year? Was it because of Katrina?

krabble supposedly they did this las yr too "Haha they did this last year, too."

I'm not saying you should check no FA, i'm saying it's an option for the person who asked in post #6

Um... I asked this in the other thread, but I'll ask it again here... Does pushing the freshman application back actually push the financial application back as well?
