<p>i just checked my student center for the first time the other day and it says my financial aid is still pending?
they said i have to send noncustodial parent's tax return but i clearly told them in my finaid application that my noncustodial parent does not reside in the US and he speaks no english so he can't do the tax return.</p>
<p>what should i do?
pretty soon i gotta pay tuition and without finaid, ill be in a lot of debt.</p>
<p>Pretty sure only thing you can do is call the financial aid office and talk to them.</p>
<p>just because he doesn’t live in the US and doesn’t speak english doesn’t mean anything. you needed to fill out the waiver. you can find it on the finaid website. hurry, i’m pretty sure you lose money each month that this info is late</p>

<p>Okay, so reading your post absolutely freaked me out and I called FA =P They were basically like “chillll outtttt!” FA will say that it’s pending until we’ve matriculated into the 2010-2011 school year =]</p>

<p>I was in the same exact situation as you harstan. My financial aid package was incomplete because of the non-custodial petition. Its still being reviewed. :(</p>
