I just got an e-mail from the Engineering college saying
"Thank you for taking the time to consider Cornell University's
College of Engineering! "
I intended to apply college of Arts & Sciences....
omg... omg.. I'm just panicking now...
I think I'll call them tomorrow...
Would they discard my candidacy???

"Thank you for taking the time to consider Cornell University's
College of Engineering!"
I think College of Engineering send that to me earlier, but I applied to CAS, and was thus accepted to CAS. I might be wrong, but I think that the purpuse of that e-mail was to increase awareness of Cornell Engineering, and does not mean that you acutally applied there. So calm down and figure out how it really is before you rush to call and possibly embarass yourself. But if you really did apply to wrong college, call them or e-mail them.

check what you submitted on the common app online.

I did check engineering... I'm calling soon to find out if I can change the college I applied....

email them and tell them...
